Finally! Months and months after I first did the lineart, the whole thing is put together!


Apparently the Saiyuki boys finished their quest and decided to try their hands at the whole music thing. Until it all fell apart one night after Goku got carried away and destroyed his drum kit as well as half the lighting rig, Gojyo smashed his guitar at the end of an impassioned solo, Sanzo got thoroughly drunk and insulted the club owner, the owner's girlfriend, the security goons and most of the audience, and Hakkai, sick of tidying the dressing room and tour bus everyday, never showed back up on stage after the break and was, indeed, never seen again.

Inked traditionally, colored in Painter IX.

gah! I have been waiting for this picture since you started CGing them sexy piece by sexy piece! *__* This is just gorgeous~ I so want to print this out and iron it on a T-shirt...*drools* I just can't help but stare at this picture! You really did a wonderful job coloring those fine-sexy boys...and I love the different lights on each one of them...makes it seem they are actually pretty far a part from each other, to avoid any 'problems' XD

LOL and I love the little story you put behind the pic...poor Hakkai...maybe he'll start a solo act eh? XD and Goku..I _knew_ it..that bakazaru was going to mess those drums up...and I liked them too~ > > bad monkey! No food for you! XD eee Goyjo...you..wrecked a guitar...a hot looking guitar!! @__@ I would chuck that broken guitar at him but the poor thang needs a proper burial. ^^; Sanzo, Sanzo, Sanzo....love your singing but love your attitude more...bless that blond hair monk, bless him and all his dirty words. XD

i have nothing to say, except I'm faving this and showing to all my saiyuki fan-girl friends (who will tehn be stalking you, so i'll appologize for any inconvience(sp) tehy cause you now. Sorry ^_^;)

haha! awesome! These turned out great. ;) Congrats on getting them done too. Must have taken a lot of work. I love how each one of them has a specific color theme.

I've watched the colourings progress, and this turned out as a nice group piece, though the individuals were bookmarks.

This is great... I love the little added.. "story"... =D

It fits alot of groups out there.... well, sorta.. lol..

Awesome work! They look even better when all together like this. Gojyo rockin' out is just so funny, and I love the little story behind it. Definitely a fav.
