Leviathanby ~telophase

And the last dragon for that RPG book. This one's Leviathan, which was described to me as looking like a sea snake with a dragon's head.

Sort of a tossup as to whether to call it digital or traditional. The leviathan itself was drawn and stippled in pen and ink, but the sea is all digital screentone. Probably about 50-50, I guess.

quite similar to a drawing of my own... the same theme, an enormous sea beast...
i draw it archng through the clouds amidst a storm, then piling into the ocan and curling through the waves...
a should find it and finish it

THis one came about because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do. I did another version that, not to put *too* fine a point on it, sucked rocks. And then I spent some time paging through the digital tone textures I have and found that one. I still want more movement in the leviathan, but I was ona deadline and couldn't waste any more time to redraw, so I went with that.

I envy your talent for stippling..it's just amazing on the dragon. You blended the two mediums well together and the dragon is just gorgeous... That RPg company is lucky to have you^^
