Kurogane from Tsubasa and something else because CLAMP just can't keep their characters sequestered into their series. Neither of which I've seen or read, because I'm allergic to CLAMP. At any rate, one of the denizens of my LJ friendslist said "Hey! That could be Kurogane!" on a pose I'd posted (I posted a bunch of pose sektches and asked for ideas for characters) , and I looked him up, and ... they were right (well, ok, I mostly wanted to draw that collar and the face-thing (and the face-thing had two slightly different shapes in two different images from the same calendar, which were the only non-icon-size images I found, so I picked one at random - anyone complaining that I got it wrong in the comments will be pointed back up here and snarked at)).
Remind me to do a character that doesn't have large areas of dark and black on their outfit next time, plz? It's impossible to do without blotchiness. (It actually looks less blotchy on the original - the scanner makes the contrast a wee bit harsh.) Pencil on charcoal paper. Original 8x10" Critique discouraged - it's for the A-Kon art show and I don't have time to fix what's wrong, so having all the mistakes pointed out to me will just make me frustrated. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
