DragonScholar's contest over at
Seventh Sanctum. The contest is to use one of his character generators to create a character and to illustrate it. The description I picked was:
This holy man never walks away from a fight. His haunted eyes are apple-green. His luxuriant hair is the color of blooming violets. He has full lips.
Of course, the character doesn't
really have violet hair - I tinted it that for the contest. He's got sandy-blonde nondescript hair, and I uploaded
that version to my main gallery.

THE GOOD:
Everything, really. The sense of mood and of character is extremely powerful. Engineering an effective from-the-back shot to set mood isn't always easy and you did it. It also adds to a sense of mystery.
TO IMPROVE:
All i can say is we don't see "his full lips", but hey, artistic licence to set the mood
